Yesterday afternoon police were made aware of a 42 year old female known to be prolific for shoplifting stealing from shops in Bedworth Town Centre.

With the assistance of council CCTV Bedworth SNT were able to locate the offender shortly afterwards within the town centre and she was found to be in possession of a range of items that were suspected to be stolen. She was subsequently arrested for theft. 

Enquiries conducted by Bedworth SNT have found items stolen from three separate shops and this has resulted in the female being charged for x3 Theft from Shops. She has been remanded in custody and will be put in front of the next available court.
