The local Safer Neighbourhood Team as well as Chief Inspector Ryan and Superintendent Bunting joined in with Veterans Day Street Party celebrations organised by the local Sikh Cultural & Sport Community Centre on Friday 16th May 2025. The party was open to everyone and it was great seeing so many of the local community there. The centre had organised many stalls, with free food and soft drinks, a DJ, traditional Punjabi dance and a free bouncy castle for the children.

A huge thank you to everyone who organised the event and for inviting us to join in and offer crime prevention advice as well as knife crime advice. We had a separate children’s activity table for colouring and ink finger printing. It was great to see both adults and children trying on our uniform and taking photos with the police car!
