Hi Resident,
Week Commencing 19th – 23rd May is recognised by all Police Forces as ‘Operation Sceptre’. Op Sceptre is a National Week of Action coordinated by the National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC). It brings all 43 police forces and British Transport Police (BTP) together for a coordinated period of intensification to tackle knife crime, a large contributor to violent crime in the UK. The initiative aims to tackle knife crime across England and Wales.
Warwickshire Police is very involved with Op Sceptre and we work across the county to deliver results and engage with the public around knife crime.
If you have any old kitchen knives that you would like to get rid of but not sure how to do this safely, please reply and we can arrange surrender of them directly to us!
Thank you for your help and support in keeping our streets safe.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
