Good morning Have you ever considered volunteering some of your time each week with Warwickshire Police? We are looking for enthusiastic people, aged 17 or over, with some life experience to share to become Police Support Volunteer Cadet Leaders with our Police Cadets programme, based in Rugby. This is a fun, lively and vibrant volunteering role where you can help make a real and positive impact on some of the young people in the county.
![]() Warwickshire Police Cadets, young people aged between 13 and 18, meet two evenings per week and have occasional weekend activities, which are always interesting and worthwhile.
Here is what one of our Cadet Leaders, Aisha has to say about her role: Being a volunteer cadet leader is an amazing opportunity in so many ways, it gives you a chance to help and guide many young people to fulfil their potential! Throughout your time with the cadets, you will mainly help with the general running of cadet evenings and engaging with and supporting the cadets, youth engagement officers and also any guests which may visit. By volunteering and being there for the cadets you become involved in so many opportunities to engage and learn more about the young people in our community, but also about Warwickshire Police, the local services, and national services around us all.
