Speed Monitoring Events at the Longshoot and Eastboro Way

Yesterday and Tuesday, Nuneaton EAST Safer Neighbourhood Team have been out with local residents from Neighbourhood Watch to carry out speed monitoring.

We monitored in excess of 700 vehicles on the Longshoot and Eastboro Way, that were roads reported to us as of concern due to speeding. We were delighted to report that there were 0 examples of speeding. This is really encouraging to see such considerate and safe driving on these local roads.

PCSO 8850 Brooks said, 'we are always really pleased to work with local residents and Neighbourhood Watch to carry out events like this speed monitoring, in response to concerns over speeding vehicles. Its also good to see local residents wanting to take an active role in keeping their streets safer.
