Counterfeit Notes

Dear Resident

Good work over the weekend from Atherstone town centre cctv operators working with our retail radio shop members after two males tried to pass counterfeit £20 & £50 notes in the local shops.

The males were unsuccessful thanks to the swift response from local businesses and left the town centre shortly afterwards in a vehicle .

The vehicle registration details have been noted for further enquiries through the SNT team.
