Monthly Update - February 2026
I hope this message finds you well. As we move through March, I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area, what’s coming up, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving. Please see below for the weekly update regarding incidents and crimes in your area.
Local Priorities Our current focus areas include: · Anti social behaviour · Burglary of both houses and out houses · Vehicle Crimes
We’re continuing patrols and targeted operations in these areas, and welcome any feedback or concerns you’d like to raise.
Increased Policing Working This month you may have seen more policing activity and resourcing around Rugby Town Centre. This was a result of Operation Cambrose which took place in Rugby town centre throughout the month of February. Various police departments and teams came together to focus policing on our local area. This allowed us to increase our visibility, arrests, proactive engagement and arrests to reduce ASB in the town centre.
Upcoming Events Come and meet us at our ‘Beat surgeries’, these are held in numerous places throughout the month. Please keep an eye on social media, or your emails, for opportunities to speak to myself and the PCSOs for the area. All are welcome to drop in; no appointment or registration required. We’d love to see you there. These events are a great way to connect and share ideas.
Weekly Update This past week (week commencing Monday 23rd February 2026) your local safer neighbourhood team, as well as the local response and our road policing teams, have been busy dealing with just 30 incidents. These 30 incidents included violence and antisocial behaviour incidents and a large portion being road related incidents.
These incidents have been dealt with swiftly to enable you to continue your day-to-day business with limited or no effect. There was only one violence and sexual offences incident, and the anti-social incidents just so happened to be also be one. We thank you for your patience when we have dealt with these.
Survey As always, to help us to help you, please complete our (poll/survey) to tell us what most matters to you. This will help to shape our crime prevention and engagement activities in your area and the updates that we share with you. Please complete the survey as highlighted below:
Thank you for your continued support and engagement. Stay safe and take care, | ||
