Operation Oakenholt – Open Water Safety Patrol

As part of Operation Oakenholt, PCSO Mitchell has been patrolling Kingsbury Water Park as part of ongoing work to promote open water safety and keep visitors safe during the warmer months.

Open water can present hidden dangers, including cold water shock, strong currents, deep water, and unseen hazards beneath the surface. We are encouraging everyone enjoying the park to be aware of the risks and to follow safety advice at all times.

✅ Stick to designated pathways and viewing areas
✅ Supervise children closely near water
✅ Avoid entering the water unless in a designated and supervised area
✅ Call 999 and ask for the Fire Service if you see someone in difficulty in the water

We will continue to carry out patrols and engage with visitors to help ensure everyone can enjoy Kingsbury Water Park safely.
