Halloween Safety and Respect for Our Community |

Dear Resident,
As Halloween approaches, your local Safer Neighbourhood Team would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable evening. Halloween can be a fun event for children, families and communities. However, it is important that celebrations are carried out safely and respectfully. We are asking everyone to be considerate of their neighbours and help prevent anti-social behaviour.
Advice for Children and ParentsTake extra care when crossing roads and remain aware of traffic.
Respecting ResidentsNot everyone chooses to celebrate Halloween. Please respect the wishes of residents who do not wish to take part. If a property does not display decorations, pumpkins or other signs of participation, please move on without disturbing the occupants.
Anti-Social Behaviour and Criminal DamageWe want everyone to enjoy Halloween, but behaviour that causes fear, alarm, distress or damage is unacceptable. Please do not: Use threatening, abusive or intimidating behaviour.
Keep any tricks fun and within the law. Any behaviour that results in criminal damage, harassment, threatening behaviour or anti-social behaviour may constitute a criminal offence and will be dealt with accordingly.
Advice for ResidentsReport any suspicious activity, anti-social behaviour or criminal damage.
Reporting ConcernsIf a crime is in progress or there is an immediate risk to safety, call 999. For non-emergency matters, anti-social behaviour or suspicious activity, contact 101 or report online via the Warwickshire Police website. By showing consideration for others and celebrating responsibly, we can ensure Halloween remains a safe and enjoyable occasion for everyone in our neighbourhood.
Thank you for your support. Your Local Safer Neighbourhood Team | ||
